Dear Seidel Family,
My father recently shared with me that Mr. Seidel had passed away. On hehalf of the Potter family, please accept our heartfelt sympathies. When we moved onto Van Tassel Drive in the summer of 1969, we quickly learned that the hub of the nieghborhood activity was centered at the Seidel house!!! I number of baseball games that were played on the best neighborhood baseball diamond ever were countless! The Indy 500 parties in which we listened to the race blaring on WIBC are great memories. Mr. Seidel was always the most welcoming friend to everyone - he never knew a stranger - Mrs. Seidel was no different. My mom passed away about 15 months ago, and we are jubilant in knowing that she, along with my sister have welcomed Mr. Seidel to God's eternal Kingdom. Please knoe that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Bill and I played badminton together for many years. He was an inspiration to all of us due to his never ending enthusiasm and determination. I will always be able to hear that "cheer" that rang out when he had just put a point away at the net. Bill never gave up on a point and never made one of his teammates feel bad if they were the one who erred.
Another thing I will always admire about Bill is his devotion to "Miss Pat." It was always clear that she had always been and would always be his eternal Valentine.
All of us who played badminton with Bill will miss him and we'll also remember the last time that he joined us to play, which has been in recent months. "Wild Bill," you'll forever be present in our hearts.
With deepest sympathy,
Patty Malone
